Since coming to Peterborough I have been privileged to help out with a wide variety of organizations and events in support of the local community.
Closest to my heart is my work with the Alzheimer’s Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland & Haliburton. Along with home visits with a patient, I have been privileged to volunteer at the Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s for several years and was the co-chair for 2 years. I was also on the organizing committee for the Pulling for Dementia Firetruck Pull for 2 years.

Peterborough Folk Festival – For the last 2 years I was lucky enough to help out in the merchandise tent with the Peterborough Folk Festival. A wonderful free event where I got to meet a lot of great people and several of the extremely talented musicians. https://www.facebook.com/PtboFolkFestival/
Maple Leaf Cavan FC – I spent a couple seasons helping out with the house league as an organizer. More recently I have been a sponsor and coach.

Easter Seals – I was privileged to answer phones for the telethon 2018 and to play in the Boston Pizza Smashed ’18 Beach Volleyball Tournament.

Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival – This year I participated in Peterborough’s Dragon Boat Festival supporting world-class breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC)
